Intro




Penning the thoughts on the less emphasized O part of Organisational Behaviour starting 2020. This has possibility of key words such as Context, Organisational Culture, Situation, Environment, Behaviour Setting, Social Psychology, Human Resource Management and even Design thinking as in how to design the appropriate organisational context  for desired behaviours, all subsumed under the term Big O,  paving the way for introducing Ecological Psychology into Organisational Studies.

Big‐B versus Big‐O: What is organizational about organizational behavior?. Organisational Behaviour could have three different emphasis. First oB with the Behaviour part emphasised where the real focus is on interesting behaviour but not necessarily passing the (Organisational)  Core competence or Centrality test. Second the Contextualised B where the behaviour is relabeled from another field with no contribution to that field.
